• On the back of our Social Spring Cleaning Checklist, write out a list of ideas you were interested in exploring at the beginning of the year that have lost steam. Ambitions are always higher at the start of a new year! Revisit those marketing ideas and decide whether to invest effort into them—Facebook contests, starting up a new social channel, taking photos of staff for social highlights . . .
• Carve out time every week specifically for finding post inspiration. For example, every Friday you could spend an hour on reading industry articles, looking at what others in your industry are posting on their social, and looking for 5 stock images to aid in content creation. Your routine will be personal to your needs, but the most important thing is to be consistent and keep that inspiration wheel turning. Setting aside time purely for inspiration will ensure you never come to the table empty-handed when it’s time to plan & schedule posts for your business.
